  1. One thing that puts me off regarding Christmas is people seem to forget about what Christmas is supposed to be about and they just care about presents. Perhaps if the presents aspect wasn’t there, then maybe the family aspect would be a bit lost as well. Though the celebration of Jesus’s birth seems to be missing for many, which should be a big part of it. I know Jesus wasn’t born on December 25th and all that, but if you have a day dedicated to celebrating Jesus being born, I think that should be taken into account by more people instead of it being sort of an afterthought. And I say this as a Christian, though I don’t know if that does anything for the comment or not.
