Deplatforming Alex Jones just made him even more popular. Love him or hate him, he shouldn’t have been removed from all the places he was removed from as he didn’t incite violence or promote violence or anything horrible that one would deserve to be removed from any video hosting or social media site. While he has views that I don’t agree with, there are things that I do agree with him on such, as gun rights. I never had a problem with his presence on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc. but I could ignore him if I thought his content was annoying. It’s funny how after he was removed from all these sites, he’s still seen as a threat to the point where hit pieces still come out months after he was deplatformed. They could have just wrote him off as a nutcase instead of removing him entirely. Now his audience has undoubtedly grown much more since they removed him earlier this year and the people who removed him only have themselves to blame.
