Both Democrats and Republicans conspired together to use Poverty as a Policy Choice for the last 40 years. 66.2% of Americans live pay check to pay check and can't get $500 together for an emergency. They work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at a an 8 year old level. This means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. Republicans have engaged in voter suppression and racial gerrymandering for decades. There are so many people who do not get an opportunity to vote.
