Independents and twice Trump voters are moving towards Biden because of Trump's lies in the debates and his viciousness. Biden is palatable for twice Trump voters. It would be a huge mistake to remove him. You will lose the swing states then. Halley dropped out of the primaries and Republican's kept voting for her up to 20%. Once again Biden is not a threatening candidate and the permission structure had been built up by other twice Trump voters who won't vote for him this time.

The New York Times and the Alanta called for Biden to step down, can you point to the times that they have called for Trump to step down? When he had the square cleared of protesters? After his adjudicated rape case? After the classified documents? After leaking classified informaton? Where are Saletan's calls for Trump to step down? Has he made the same number of them for Trump as he made for Biden?

@douglasfeldman7800 No Trump is losing his own voters. After Halley dropped out of the primaries she was still winning up to 20% of the primary voters. These are voters protesting against Trump. They don't give a shite about Biden. They just don't want another Jan 6th. Biden meets the criteria.

Saletan's patronising tone of voice combined with his inability to analyse his own normalisation of Trump and MAGA is scary. Biden was listening to a torrent of lies and misinformation and how suprising was it that he lost his train of though? Saletan can't maintain a train of though coherently enough to understand that you don't undermine a Democratic presidential candidate thereby providing support for a sociopath.
