  1. Black maternal deaths were the highest in the OECD before Roe vs Wade was overturned. White maternal deaths have risen 95 per cent in Texas since the abortion bans came in. What this means for Black women we can not know but it is not good. A lot of people don't understand the biology of pregnancies. They do not understand the women are dying from miscarriages, stillbirths, ectopic pregnancies, sepsis and a dead foetus. It did not break through. It was a missed campaign ad opportunity.
