  1. 66.2% of Americans can't get $500 together for an emergency and they work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at an 8 year old level. This means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. They do not have critical thinking skills. A living wage would have prevented the rise of Trumpism.
