Rachel Maddow is paid enough to pay for 400 full time journalists. She is another person taking more than her fair share. This is why she does not cover in a meaningful way that 60% of Americans can't get $500 together for a medical emergency. They work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. Rachel Maddow is part of the problem because she is paid so much that she is out of touch. No one is worth that much. Not the CEOs and not her. And whilst she is getting paid this much and they have convinced her that she deserves to be paid this much she will never pull apart that no CEO isn't worth roughly 200 times what a worker is paid. From 1978 to 2023, CEO compensation increased 1,085%, while a typical worker's compensation increased 24%. Rachel Maddow has been bought and paid for and she doesn't even know it.
