Okay everybody! Folks are in fight, flight, freeze and fawn, which means their lizard brain has taken over and their prefrontal cortex has literally shut down. The prefrontal cortex is where rational thinking occurs. So biology is stopping them from rational and clear thinking. So it's time to get people walking, breathing and dancing or whatever helps reset their nervous system. Don't argue with them as when their lizard brain is in control all they feel is that they are literally fighting for their lives. Give folks some time to reset their nervous system. Listen, be non-judgemental and try to get them moving a bit.
