  2. Many are living under this already. The police can take anything of yours if you are poor. See John Oliver's shows on that. 60% of Americans can't afford to get $500 together for an emergency. They work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. Then they have to "volunteer" for food stamps. That's not living in a Republic, that is not having access to democracy. Democrats and Republicans conspired to use "Poverty as a Policy Choice". They used neoliberalism to blame poor people for being poor. Neoliberalism shifts folks from being a citizen in a country who has rights and responsibilities and a sense of belonging and purpose to being consumers in a market place, who are expected to purchase wisely their own lives without a sense of belonging and purpose. Who are blamed for not being born into wealth. That loneliness and being scapegoated is crushing. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at an 8 year old level. This means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. They do not know who Murdoch is or what he owns. Trump and Fox news, in the way they rant, comment, advertise, pontificate and scapegoat engage in amygdala hijacks. That means they are in a state of fight, flight, freeze or fawn state. That literally means that their prefrontal is shut down. The prefrontal cortex is where thinking takes place. Biology prevents them from thinking. If you are terrified of becoming homeless and you feel powerless. Then you want someone to be punished even if it is themselves.
