Time poor. They can not take a shift off to vote. Kids won't eat. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at a an 8 year old level. This his means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. The corporate media sanewashed Trump. They didn't have the skills to see through that. Both Republicans and Democrats conspired to use Poverty as a Policy Choice for the last 40 years. That's no living wage for 40 years. Folks gave up. The poor don't turn out to vote. Voter suppression and racial gerrymandering by the Republicans make it impossible for many Americans to vote.
