66.2% of Americans can't get $500 together for a medical emergency. They work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. Then they have to "volunteer" to get food stamps. They are working 6-7 days a week. They do not have time to read the news.

@TerryConspiracy420 My Taiwanese friends, teach, masked, to their students, also masked, and none of them have had time off for Covid. None of them lost family to Covid. Unlike America, Taiwan does not have one million dead either. They were expected to have one of the highest death rates in the world because they had flights directly from Wuhan. Masking saved millions of dollars and prevented hundreds of thousands of deaths. Masks meant that they didn't have to lock down either or close their schools. They did not have chronically overwhelmed hospitals. Bill Maher doesn't understand basic Science.

@molasorrosalom4846 Research showed that you could catch Covid outside. Especially the later on variants. You masked in your car in order not to infect someone vulnerable getting into your car such as an elderly person or if you did not want to get infected if someone who was positive had used the car earlier. Common sense reasons really. It was misinformation that children weren't adversely affected by Covid. They died and got Long Covid. At one point in Texas they announced that for your child to get a hospital bed another child had to die.
