Poverty across America, 60% of Americans can't get $500 together for an emergency and they work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at a 8 year old. Intergenerational deficits in literacy combined with poverty a lack of nutrition results in less brain activity, this means at a 6th Grade level means that people haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. They do not know who Murdoch is or what he owns.

  2.  AmericanFlyOnTheWall  Both Democrats and Republicans conspired to use the neoliberalist "Poverty as a Policy Choice" which shifts folks from being citizens in country with rights, responsibilities, belonging, community and a purpose to being a consumer in a market place who has to be wise enough to purchase the right life, despite not having a trust fund. The rights and responsibilities disappear but even more crushingly so do the belonging, community and purpose.
