Bingo! 60% of Americans can't get $500 together for an emergency and they work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. Then they have to work to get their food stamps. They are very low information voters. They have no time. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level this means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking and they don't know who Murdoch is or what he owns. Neoliberalism shifts a citizen in a country who has rights, responsibilities, belonging and a purpose to being consumers in a market place where they have to "purchase wisely" their own lives, even if they do not have a trust fund. Both Republicans and Democrats conspired to use Poverty as a Policy Choice and then they scapegoated the poor for being poor. A living wage would have prevented the rise of Trumpism. Desparate folks vote for Trump because someone needs to be punished even if it is themselves. Intergenerational Trauma, poverty and illiteracy creates a population who are vulnerable to cults, strongman and misinformation. When you feel that you are fighting for your life you are in fight, flight, freeze or fawn. This literally means that you can not think. Your pre frontal cortex is shut down. Biologically there is no ability to think. Trump and Fox engage in amgdala hijacks of fight, flight, freeze or fawn. They manipulate vulnerable people. The vulnerability of these folks means that they feel relieved that someone else is being scapegoated and not them.

@enriquerivera592 You can literally look up all the bills that she sponsored and cosponsored online. If you listen to her speech she details many aspects of her policies. But if you don't listen to her rallies and speeches you won't hear her policies.

@BigAL-Bama This is incorrect. Harris did diversionary programmes for education, addiction and employment. She didn't just lock up Black men. You can watch these men talk about how life changeing it was for them.

She did the Child Tax Credit which raised 50 per cent of children out of poverty.
