Ask yourself why so many young Russians want to leave? No decent jobs, no money, no democracy, no future, no economy. Russian population is not growing, it's in decline.
I have been to Russia, and not just Moscow. I have seen the filth, the degradation, the drunks in the street, the corruption that exists everywhere. The squalid buildings they are passed off as living quarters, where in a western country they would be condemned. Sadly, Russians live a life of poverty from birth to death in most cases.
I live in Australia. I am married to a Russian. She had a 2-year-old, when I met her. She could never find a man who would support her in Russia. That is par for the course.
She has lived here for 17 years now, owns a car freehold. Earns $150,000 a year. When she first came here, life was hard for her. No language skills, her degree was useless, She struggled, but battled on and now, she would not live anywhere else. We built a home 4 years ago, valued at $700,000. Her daughter is in University doing IT, and if you ask her would she go back to Russia, look at what I have written and, you will get her answer. I should mention that if you get seriously sick here, there is no cost, and the medical standards are far above those available in Russia. There are a lot of Russians and Ukrainians living here.
