  1. US health care is atrocious. I live in Australia. I pay private insurance of $100 a week. US$70. If I go to a hospital either public or private regardless of the length of stay my cost is $0. If my wife goes to hospital and has a baby in either a private or government hospital the cost is $0. This week I got new glasses. The bill was $495.00. I paid $35.60, insurance paid for the balance. I go to a chiropractor every 3 weeks. My cost is $9. Insurance picks up the balance of the $49 cost. The US has got a lot to learn about health care. How many people die in the US because they cannot afford medical bills? I believe the number is about 26,000. That is a disgrace.
