@SamCopper101 Do you need to put on sunglasses when you emerge from under that rock where you've been for the last decade or so?

@richardnavratil9661 Keep in mind that the vehicle being reviewed is a press car not a vehicle offered for sale by a dealer. The error in the Moroney sticker is an embarrassment for Genesis but it's likely a mistake that would not be made in a car that's actually available to consumers.

@richardnavratil9661 Not true. Vehicles in the press fleets do not go to dealers.

@SamCopper101 As I noted in another post, I won't be purchasing any Genesis in the next few years with a kid in college. But I do own a KIA Sorento (my second since 2012). Put nearly 100K miles on the first one and 50K on a 2018 replacement. Nothing at all ever went wrong with the first one and the second is the same. I may well purchase still another one in the next couple of years. It's been that good. And anyone who hasn't been living under a rock knows that KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis have produced more highly regarded models than any other automakers over the last decade.

With a kid heading off to college in the next couple of years I won't be considering a new Genesis much less their significantly more expensive rivals. On the other hand as an owner of the last generation KIA Sorento with its optional V6 engine I'm especially interested in the various KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis models that offer the new corporate 2.5L turbo 4 cylinder that the Korean brands are offering as optional or standard in a variety of their vehicles. From various reviews it appears the engine is an especially noteworthy powerplant. And while consumers are well advised to be cautious about the durability of any automaker's first year of a new engine, the fact that KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis are deploying the engine in so many different vehicles and backing it with their well known 10 year/100K warranty suggests the brands have a lot of confidence in it.
