  1. Sorry, Sarah. The overwhelming majority of consumers won't opt for a manual transmission when they can SAVE money vs an AT. The notion that there's any significant group of consumers who would pay MORE for a manual transmission is nuts. MT's will stick around on a few niche vehicles but like drum brakes and unassisted hydraulic steering, the future of MT's in general is very, very dark.
