  1. Big fan of hatchbacks here. And Toyota builds an attractive one. Very little chance that they'll offer a turbo or an AWD version, though. Toyota's principal object is to maintain a high level of reliability for their vehicles, especially for the Corolla, and anything that threatens it will never never make it into production. So be satisfied with a manual transmission. Toyota sells so many Corollas for the world market that they can afford to build MT versions and designate a few for the North American market.
