Face it, folks. The era of ICE vehicles in "performance" cars is rapidly coming to an end. The various versions of the Mach-E are an excellent fit into what has always been the calling card of the Mustang, a range of similar vehicles with performance that ranges from mild to wild. Rather than bemoaning the inclusion of the Mach-E in the Mustang family, Mustang fans should understand that it's the savior of the brand. Consider that the traditional Camaro is going away by 2023 to be replaced by a coupe-like EV. KIA is killing the Stinger after only four model years as the company puts its performance "eggs" in the EV6 basket. Even Stellantis has announced the Challenger/Charger siblings will be joined by a hybrid or full EV model within two model years and the demise of the current versions is a near certainty. The good news for fans of the Mustang moniker is that if Ford can produce and sell enough Mach-Es of various performance levels, there may be enough revenue to keep a few of the dinosaur traditional Mustangs in the pipeline. At least for a while. BTW, Joe. The ridiculous divider in the "frunk" is gone for 2022. Likewise, for the black wheel arches. For 2022 they're body colored.
