In the first 7 months of 2019 Mini reports selling fewer than 2600 convertibles throughout the US. That's an annual rate of about 4400 units for the entire 2019 calendar year, down from an already paltry 5500 in 2018. I've no doubt that Mini dealers are prepared to make great deals on the vehicle just to get them off the lot. The bigger question is just how long BMW will put up with ever shrinking sales and continue to produce the Mini.
