Please, VW, since you are committed to discontinuing the basic Golf in the US, only grudgingly continue the GTI (preferring to sell the GLI in the US), and repeatedly threaten to drop the Golf R on this side of the Atlantic, at least send us the T-Roc R. Spruce it up a bit with fewer hard plastics and promote it as a subcompact crossover. We won't tell anyone what it really is. Promise.
