  1. That's not the worst of the treatment (actually the non-treatment) of the G70. While the base engine of the GV70 is the new 2.5L turbo 4 found in at least 8(!) KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis vehicles the G70 was ignored completely. Its engine is unchanged from the relatively mediocre 2.0L turbo that's been there since the G70 was introduced. Compare that to the closely related KIA Stinger that received the new 2.5L engine in the base GT-Line. Despite strong reviews sales of the G70 have been dismal and declining ever since its introduction and failing to upgrade it significantly will definitely not help.

  2. If Genesis can put the new 2.5L turbo in the GV-70 and KIA can put it in the base model GT-Line KIA Stinger, why did Genesis opt to leave the G70 with the same relatively mediocre 2.0L turbo?
