Two years since grenfell and people are still living in blocks with flammable cladding. Two years and all this government have done is blame the fire service and call the victims stupid. Utterly disgraceful.

With the Tories in power, this will keep on happening, again and again, there'll be more and more lives lost, and the government will do nothing.

Do you think buildings should have flammable cladding? Do you think the fire service should be defunded? These are political questions, because the current government says yes to both, when every right thinking person says no.

@MetricImperialist You gain nothing by acting stupid. Nobody is saying everything flammable should be banned, but should flammable cladding be banned? Yes. In fact, the government even said they would, but then didn't do anything (familiar story).

@AA-pk6fo What does the council have to do with it? This is a privately owned building. It's the Tories who have failed to put in any appropriate legislation after Grenfell.

@MetricImperialist The government is responsible for building regulations, and should absolutely act to ensure buildings are fire safe. Their inaction is, frankly, disgraceful.

@MetricImperialist ... yes the government is responsible for having proper car regulations. If a car kept on setting on fire the government should ban it. In this case, flammable cladding is being used up and down the country. People are sleeping in tinder boxes totally inappropriate and unsafe. The government should have acted after Grenfell, but they have done nothings. It's a disgrace.

@MetricImperialist You are pretending to be an idiot for some reason. No, the government shouldn't ban cars. They should regulate them to make sure they're safe. The government shouldn't ban buildings, but should regulate them to make sure they don't catch fire. This government has done nothing about this issue. It's disgraceful.
