  1. Razorfist said it years ago. YouTube blacklists and demonetizes people they don't agree with politically. I've seen it happen so many times over the past several years. Other people I follow like Styxhexenhammer666 are still going at it, hopefully they can ride the wave a bit longer since I know their input isn't always necessarily with what YouTube wants us to see.

  3. The 2007 - 2014 era of YT was the best. Today having Ray William Johnson, iJustine, Shane Dawson and the like would be impossible to emulate. Too many rules and regulations that would shut them down before they even got their foot in the door. This account I made in March of 2007, so I can speak from first hand experience. The old YouTube was more free and simply much better. The YouTube of today is simply a joke.

Without Carl, this channel or most of his other channels would not have gotten the attention they received over the years. It takes a certain person to be dedicated and willing to produce quality content like this. What you thought about the people on the Lotus Eaters is irrelevant. It wasn’t their looks or their character, it was their views that got them demonetized. But please, make more insulting comments like yours. I’ll just be sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn.

  6.  @advert1489  The best era was 2006 - 2013. That was when people could be themselves and not be under a lockdown of rules. I followed several people who swore and used crude jokes, and were monetized. Today you can't curse beyond the more tame swear words without your entire video possibly getting de-monetized. Google is losing it.

  7. I’ve been doing this since 2016. I got so sick of watching 30 second unskippable ads for 3 - 5 minute videos. Never paid for Premium, and never will. Google doesn’t deserve our hard earned money.

  9. You’ve been using it since this website existed. The old YouTube will never come back. Other websites like Dailymotion tried to compete, but YT is still the #1 video hosting website. Rumble and Odyssee don’t come anywhere close.
