Comments by "Im Caj" (@KratostheThird) on "Zoomers Don’t Support Women’s Rights | feat. Codrin Stavri" video.
The feminist movement started during the late 1960's/1970s. Those older feminist women who are now elderly are admitting that it was a huge mistake.

@backintimealwyn5736 You're speaking of the Millennials and the Zoomers. I don't know how old Carl is but if I had to guess he is a younger Gen Xer. They weren't exactly great at families, but they weren't born with this fear and outright hatred like a lot of Millennials and Zoomers are. Gen X is no longer relevant to our society today, but they've been watching this culture war play out while they sit in the bleachers. Zoomers to me are mostly trending the path the Millennials started. Millennials back in 2005 - 2007 were labeled the "Me" generation. The generation that got its real start on social media, and we have seen how social media has influenced and to some extent brainwashed an entire generation. I used to think MySpace was facepalm 15 years ago, but it can't even compare with the filth and disgust TikTok and Tinder are. MySpace was child's play in comparison. The Baby Boomers got lucky. They earned themselves jobs and families back in the 1970s - 1980s, with union benefits so for them owning a home and having a family with two kids was easily possible by the time they were 30. Those days are long gone. Millennials are just beginning to grab administrative positions and authority, but at what cost? I'm in my mid 30s and many of us still don't want seats of authority. We don't want to be criticized while the old crusty Boomers and the nihilistic Zoomers attack us from both fronts. I'm childless, don't have a family of my own and I'm just working to make ends meet, nothing more. Turns out the degree I worked hard for back in 2005 - 2009 was largely an worthless expensive piece of paper. Took a long time to pay off the college debt I accumulated. It's going to take a lot of courage, commitment and strife to get us out of the mess we are in.

@impudentdomain Sadly. It's why I don't watch most modern Hollywood films anymore.

@MmntechCa I'm in my mid 30s and I can't tell you how many times I've been looked over while they hired women who were less qualified.

@jonson856 Gen Y was the original name for the Millennial generation back in the 90's/2000's when various magazines labeled the different generations. It wasn't until 10 - 20 years ago that Millennials was the accepted term for people born between 1981 and 1996.

@Krysnha A Ptolemy fan reaching over to Lotus Eaters. Welcome.

@HelenWA They said it was. All it did was make these women hate men. They were given the same garbage 50 years ago as these young women are given now. I appreciate strong independent women, but not if they haven’t to drag down men to achieve their goals.

@jonson856 I believe this was the case in old magazines. It was back when Gen X was being put in a negative light, much like Millennials were 10 - 15 years later and now Zoomers.

@backintimealwyn5736 I see these families thriving in more quiet conservative spaces. Portland Oregon, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago are all leftist dystopias with insanely expensive housing while the quality of life continues to decline.

@robertopettyo7147 Because you guys had actual job benefits and you could afford a home with wife and children back in the 1980s. The middle class structure that your generation largely contributed towards was happier because the quality of life was better. You can see this in old TV shows, movies and commercials of this era. Today, Zoomers are lucky to scrape by with two jobs while living paycheck to paycheck. Meanwhile the various university degrees have largely been made useless. Combine that with the nihilistic attitude of a lot of Zoomers and you got a recipe for disaster.
