  1. Here’s an example. Home Security. 1950’s/1960’s America. Homes had locked doors and keys. No high tech was available back then. Gave burglars an opportunity for access if skilled enough. 2024 America. Many homes have the Ring security system with phone app. Reports possible break ins and automatically calls 911. Safe? Not exactly. There are many people who have been on the receiving end of this and have been charge, not the criminals who broke in.
