  1. The internet was what happened. When I was growing up in the late 80’s and 90’s most people screamed about Reagan, or hated Bush. But without internet being readily available on the personal computer, their arguments rarely went beyond the living room. The internet is a great thing, but it has ushered in the age of dystopia and dissent. War is no longer being waged out in the real world, it is now being sought on the virtual space. That’s why the 80’s and 90’s represent the last time America was good, as well as western society. Other than nuclear drills being conducted in class, I didn’t have to worry about legacy media infiltrating every aspect of my life, like it is trying to do to us today. Gen Z will face very tough times ahead. I just hope they will be prepared for it.

  2. I agree with you. I hate both sides, but these days Lotus Eaters have made many points I agree with, hence why I’m subscribed to their website. Being somewhere leaning slightly to the right is my way of staying sane in these insane times.
