  2.  @joelfenner I have Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd films myself. I also have DVDs of both American and British shows, including the Muppet Show, Father Ted, the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, All in the Family, Seinfeld, the Simpsons, and South Park.

  4. Go back a decade earlier (1970s) and you will find stuff like Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and the like. None of that style of humor would make it in today’s bland society.
