  6. As a guy approaching his late 30s, our parents used to think 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, Biggie Smalls, Mortal Kombat, R rated movies (Pulp Fiction) were bad for children. Which back then (1990s), that stuff was, because none of it was appropriate for children. But I don’t think any of it can compare to what TikTok is doing to children. While everything I listed is entertainment, TikTok is essentially stripping children of a real childhood and telling them to do things that are contrary to growing up and facing reality. Being a Millennial, there is no doubt that many Zoomers were raised in sheltered environments, and I believe many of them, include those I work with, suffer from mental issues. Generation Alpha is not off to a good start. It’s yet another generation that looks to be getting the shaft.

  7. More like Baby Boomers have failed to bring children up to become responsible adults. Gen X, Millennials, Zoomers and now Gen Alpha. This crap started in the 1980’s.

  8.  @hartleyshandcrafted  Boomers brought in the government run schools. If you want to see how participation awards got out of hand you can certainly blame them. Now us Millennials are the parents. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen 10 - 12 old kids acting like completely entitled brats. Then I look at their Millennial parents who are mostly in their 30’s and I go “there’s the problem right there”.

  13.  @AeonPhoenix  None of this is new. People blamed video games for the Columbine high school shooting. TikTok in contrast is manipulating impressionable kids who aren’t of adult age to be doing self destructive things.

  15.  @Davitofrito  YouTube was fine back in 2005 - 2010. There was a lot of cringe back in the early - mid 2000's. Websites like Albino Black Sheep had some disturbing material. Some kids in high school with mental problems made stick man cartoons of extreme violence and gore. What I miss was the internet before normies and the mainstream got onto it. These Zoomer kids disgust me, and their AI robots they like to use for TikTok is damaging an entire generation of children.
