Your generation had much higher social capital back in the 1960s - 1990s. It's a real struggle for us younger folk. I'm 36 and I already checked out. Been through too many failed relationships to bother listing. These young women will be cat moms soon enough.

@neilorourke71 They sound like Baby Boomers to me, doesn't surprise me if they cling to 1978. Younger generations are screwed. The decline has been a gradual process for decades, but never has it been more apparent than now. Then we wonder why so many 20 - 25 year old guys are miserable, taking drugs, committing suicide, checking themselves out, and working themselves to death because of inflation. Good luck Zoomers, because you guys will have to pull a miracle to get out of this dystopian nightmare.
