  2.  @hollow3d  Don't live in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle or Los Angeles. Trying to get a home in any of these places is like giving up your arms and your legs to pay for expensive medical bills. Find a place with more affordable housing. Do some research on the types of jobs available. Seek out and work a trade. Going to university for a fancy piece of paper is a complete waste of time. Not only that, but you're going to be paying $10,000 - 100,000 worth of student debt, which basically eliminates your disposable income along with all the bills and expenses you have to pay regularly.

  3. All while having little to no college. Jobs used to give you union benefits, wages could afford you the two story home, complete with Leave it to Beaver family and white picket fence.

  6.  @grandmarquee  You were born in 1980 which also made a difference. As a Millennial that was born several years later (1986) we got the short end of the stick. We graduated university in 2008 right when the housing crash and financial crash occurred. The guys born a few years later really got shafted. Your peers didn’t have flip phones or smartphones growing up. I’ve noticed the tail end of the Millennial generation having far more mental problems than the ‘Xennials’, and that has much to do with social media encompassing their lives. Those apps as you put them wouldn’t of let you find a place.

  8.  @MasterGhostf  A lot of people can’t afford houses in those states. Even a low cost house in crummy cities like Stockton or Modesto is going to be more than you’re going to pay in other states.

The ‘orange man’ triggered the left wing media by constantly talking about him. Anyone conservative or even centrist was interrupted by radical leftists in talk shows. If you consume politics and media 24/7, you are going to be miserable. You have to look out for yourself and improve thyself.

  17. Most foster children that I knew personally were abused and manipulated. Foster care is literally punishment for most, and it can take these kids decades to finally get up and work towards something because of the psychological abuse they endured.

  18.  @gggamer3851  You need proper job training. Most college kids leave school with degrees, but have no life experience or work training. That limits them to mostly minimum wage jobs and jobs that were designed to give young people a start in the business world.
