Just by looking at the policies LMG has put in place, that’s not going to please a lot of people who could potentially make their own content on tech.

Louis handled this with tact and maturity. There’s literally thousands of screaming YouTubers out there for you to watch.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

The main reason you’re noticing this is because YouTube is much bigger today than it was over a decade ago. Those I used to respect in the past like Angry Joe and The Amazing Athiest I unsubbed because I got tired of their garbage. Others like iJustine fell off and their content became boring. Times have changed. But there will always be petty drama. This is petty drama, let’s be honest here. Drama makes money. That’s what this comes down to. If Angry Joe can be a polarized individual for money, he will jump on that opportunity.

Because the world is corrupt. Welcome to the real world. But seriously. This stuff has happened for a long time. It's just that with Louis and Linus, you have fiber internet and always online access to see the drama up close. That's why in many ways, having the conversation leave the living room was better. Because the internet didn't exist or wasn't mainstream back then. LTT is basically the Millennial aged guy who hasn't really grown up with the world, instead resorting to high school, college kid level dialogue in e-mail responses.

This 35 year old man has spent over a decade building his channel. I have been here for 20 years now and have seen everyone from PewDiePie and MrBeast to Louis Rossman and ReviewTechUSA change or move on. ReviewTech deleted his channel, people got mad, and they moved on. Boogie2988? Same thing. Angry Joe? He’s not the guy he was over a decade ago. People change. Times change. We are no longer in the era of edgy content and trying to shock viewers like it was on old YouTube. We are in the era of influencers, all on 4K resolution who are essentially drama queens. The amount of so called long time fans who have to announce they are unsubbing from Louis is quite frankly unnecessary.

I’m grateful I grew up in a time before the internet was mainstream.

That was back when he was much smaller.

Louis has a private life. You don’t get to dictate what he tries to do off camera.
2
@AgentSmith911 I’m sorry but no. Louis holds a ‘no bars’ outlook, and while I don’t agree with everything this guy does, he can freely express his viewpoints as long as he does not put other people in danger. Nothing is new here.
2
@AgentSmith911 The first guy that pops up in my mind when it comes to constant drama is ReviewTechUSA. And he deleted his channel.

I miss the old YouTube (2005 - 2010). Just groups of teenage kids, adults and others recording home videos, doing stupid stuff, talking about life, and having a life. This current era of 4K resolution, tyrannical influencers, an ethically corrupt administration, and this cancel culture dilemma has me going back to the old stuff.
2
Tech influencers are just a watered down version of the tech guys from the 90's and the 2000's who were actually working on tech and keeping us amazed.
2
@Zizoor That’s typical. Companies like Safeway and Dollar Tree have high turnover because of poor management and poor hours.
2
What more can you expect from a YouTube channel with over 16 million subs? Marqus has done the same thing. He gave us a Wallpaper App and then charged us a bunch of money for literal garbage.
2
This is why I trust people with lower subscriber counts more.

The real problem in regard to what Louis said at 1:01:51 in this video is the oligarchy the West has sunk into. Linus himself is a symptom of a much bigger problem. Our system has become that which rewards narcissists, criminals and our elites with consolidation of power. Demanding $30,000 for a very brief shout out in a tech unboxing video is not only greed, it is utter malice. And that’s the thing. Corporations hold so much sway over normal society that people themselves are starting to become ads themselves. I’m utterly convinced that all the low quality ad garbage with some Millennial/Gen Z person with a smartphone has been paid off. It was not like this back in 2010 - 2013. Ads back then were more reasonable, so most people saw no serious need for a blocker. Linus, like many with his subscriber count and higher, sold his soul to gain power and profit. He is part of a big scam along with the other big YouTubers whose faces were shown on that thumbnail at 4:00 in the video. The giant corporations have captured them. That’s the big difference between Louis here and those who are multi millionaires here on YT that got bought off.
2
Linus is a coward Millennial who fell for the woke mind virus.
1
YouTube drama is profitable. All of these massive YouTubers sold out long ago. Most of us are just scraping by with retail jobs, office jobs and other dead end jobs just to pay for our rent.
1
Trump enabled them.

@ Because back then, more people had a spine. Trust me, I was around, just look at when I made this account. I’m not saying the ‘Leave Britney Alone’ material was good by any measure, but more people were just making videos to have fun. Now if you don’t make money for the algorithm, you might as well be nonexistent.
1
He is why Canada is worse today than it was 20 years ago.

As someone who is a little older than Louis but is in the same age group as him, we would have been friends growing up.
1
That's on the administrator, not Louis himself.
1
@TheOriginalAMNeSia Trust me I’ve been on Discord since it came out. I’ve been banned from servers due to incompetence and power tripping mods who can’t take a little criticism. If you have staff who are a problem for the customer or the user then it’s up to you to get rid of them. Louis himself is probably very busy but I can be certain that someone will report this issue to him.

Wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Vancouver is insanely expensive. There's a lot of decay, particularly in Chinatown where you can see people on something. I can't say more than that because YouTube will probably delete this comment.
1
A wolf in sheep's clothing is the best way to describe him.
1
How can he not be rich when his channel has over 16 million subscribers?
1
I can see MrBeast and Marcus Browne at 4:19 in the video, but who are the other three guys?
1
Same with MrBeast and the other talking heads on the thumbnail of that Honey video shown here.
1
Sounds like a leftist/Trumper.
1
AI is machine learning.

When you're as big as these guys, you have to think about your reputation. There's a reason why they're not telling the honest truth.
