  1.  @J.B.1982  There’s very little worth buying that’s AAA anymore. 2024 was an absolute disaster and to start off 2025, we get Avowed. The days of the original Dead Space, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Long gone.

  2.  @J.B.1982  I was an advocator for certain Nintendo games until the company decided to go hard on emulation. So in short, I’m told to pay a hefty subscription price tag just to play old Nintendo and Sega games from 30 years ago, when I can easily play these games on PC via emulation. In return, I am boycotting them.

  4. By old cars we mean 1990’s - 2000’s era cars. Anything before that is vintage and is generally too expensive for the average person to afford. Pre smart digital equipment. I think earlier GPS devices from the 2000’s are this way. You’re essentially doing what we all did during the era of the Wild West Internet. Sadly this means using older technology because the new stuff is anti consumer.

  7. They were already forcing people to install updates on Windows 10 as early as 2015. This isn’t new at all, because this company is just marching down the path they laid out years ago.

  9.  @J.B.1982  Same. I’m playing a couple beat em ups which are basically retro inspired, taking from 90’s gaming. I’m also doing a new playthrough of Skyrim on PC. One of the last good Bethesda titles.

  10.  @J.B.1982  It hurts seeing that I grew up on Nintendo. Still, I can’t accept their position. Nintendo still cannot get online right, as even classics like Mario Kart 64 still have lag when you try to play with other people.

  12. Probably better to use some sort of CD crack to bypass the CD requirement as the original CDs were made in a time when software developers had to make complete products. And while I have played the remaster, after the Warcraft 3 debacle I decided to not use Blizzard again.

  13. They started with book burning and prosecuting anybody with a different viewpoint, even though they were patriotic minded and believed in equality. History is repeating itself, and those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

  16. I have the StarCraft, Diablo and Warcraft 3 Battle Chests. The issue I have is getting them to run and play on modern systems. I have a disc player, so that isn’t an issue.

  17. Warcraft 1 is definitely quite dated. I decided to play some old games that I played decades ago and I saw how horrible the path finding is in that game. Canonically, the Orc Campaign is the story, and in Warcraft 2 the story focuses on the Humans trying to win back their homeland. The orcs invaded thru a portal that Medivh, a human warlock, basically opened. Despite the flaws, the old Blizzard titles were awesome. It’s a shame the passion and dedication necessary to make such titles are long gone.
