⁠ @Impassion You people are just the east coast version of California. Doesn’t matter, because both California and New York got ruined by politics. People flee to Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Tennessee and so on and then wonder why those states are turning Blue.

@mikeg3439 I used to think it was old Hollywood sitcoms like Sanford & Son. But I found some vintage footage of actual 60’s - 70’s LA. It really looked like a better place.

Humphrey Bogart and company were paid to act in this fashion. There are books that detail how 1930s - 1940s Hollywood actors were told to perform in front of the cameras.
