@TrineDaely Which amounts to no real choice. Mom and pop stores are going away like flies on sticky paper.

@KoKoKen Reminds me when Al Gore was lecturing Millennials about global warming, and how we need to use less resources. Meanwhile he was flying around on his private jet, but that obviously wasn’t using resources, right? 🤷♂️

@JamieMadrox195 Corporotism, not free market capitalism. That died a long time ago.

@ People recommend not buying certain pet food products because they will worsen the health of the dogs and cats. It’s not just us. It’s pets now too.

@horusfalcon My Walmart changed their checkouts to where you have to follow a specific path just to get your orders paid for. It’s all about abusing the customer to get more money and waste their time.
4
@JamieMadrox195 I can’t imagine the shelves are well organized or even clean. Krogers is beginning to sound like Dollar General.

@RolandoMarreroPR Remember when thousands of people said “I cut the cable”? Today thousands of people are saying “I cut the streaming”. Same practice, just newer technology.

@horusfalcon They actually make you go through a path just to reach the checkouts. Before, you had several lines of people for each checkout, including self checkout, and you could just walk back to the main floor of the store. Now they make you wait in one singular line, regardless of what checkout stand you’re going to, it’s ridiculous.

@TheGuyWhoIsSitting That’s blaming young people for everything. The old people sitting on hoards of money who run these corporations devised these plans.

There's a bunch of AI comments on this video to prove your point.

@forestpagan4813 The farmers are no better off than we are.

@thetakongpancake1003 Well it’s a combination of many things. Dumbing down education, workers unable to do essential math skills, groceries rising in price due to greed, the list goes on. You guys also had proper mentors. My dad worked in the restaurant business in the 70’s. While not a cook, he was a busboy and a cleaner. His bosses taught him how to clean effectively, and be proper to customers if the need arose. Today I see aisles in grocery stores regularly unkept. Shelves are poorly shelved and stocked and this is being done on purpose. Gen Z is working overtime and they lack essential skills and knowledge to adapt to the real world, let alone have the money and know how to raise a family with strong kids. Civilization is doomed.

@vincei4252 That’s unfortunate. Hopefully gentrification isn’t happening in your area.

@DoubleDeckerDream There’s a reason why people are more sick and miserable

I visited NYC when Rudy was mayor. Establishment Democrats love to say why Rudy is a criminal, but they can’t explain why the city has gone downhill.

@marylandj3228 I worked there, it was awful.

Is Krogers in Seattle?
1
They were decent because they actually cared more about the customer. Now it's about robbing the customer so they can stay poor.

I want the old standards to come back.

This sounds like Dollar General, which is about the worst store I’ve been to.

@PaintingOfTheMind In a way, I’m glad Kroger is behind the times in regards to actually effectively price gouging people. Still awful. I worked at Safeway, Walmart and other retail. All of them since the mid 2000’s when I began to work in retail has gone downhill in some capacity. I miss the days when you cut out coupons from newspapers, take them to the store, and get that exact discount as long as you got there in the time frame the coupons lasted. Now you have to do it on smartphones or go through what you’re describing which both open up doors to many different ways you can be manipulated.

@RicardoSantos-oz3uj I used to think old fashioned 1950's travel with attractive women and men, and 1970's airlines with actual entertainment (piano) was just Hollywood glamorizing things for advertisement. But when I asked old people in their 80's about this stuff, they said these privileges actually existed back then. I've been stuck in coach with complete strangers and crying babies more times then I care to admit. Not to mention consistent delays in flights, confusion with plane tickets, hassle with getting personal luggage either on board or loaded by staff, etc. The list goes on.

@captainnerd6452 That’s not just me getting cheap tickets. They cheapened airline travel for everyone.
1
@captainnerd6452 I didn’t say people want luxury services for economy prices. Read my comment before you start making accusations.
1
@captainnerd6452 When you took a sharp tone and told me to get cheap tickets instead of adding to the conversation, that’s when I stopped taking you seriously. This discussion is over.

@thetakongpancake1003 You have to speak the truth to understand what’s going on.
