  4. I have a couple hundred DVDs and even Amazon has managed to send me broken DVDs where the case was broken or the disc was scratched. They treat their packages worse than UPS.

I made a negative review on a Disney Marvel film and I got a warning stating my review was problematic, despite not leaving any bad words. This was some time after IMDB deliberately removed their forums. I also remember writing comments on select Amazon reviews, which was also taken away from us. The company is trash. I mostly buy from local retailers and specialty brand websites for things like electronics.

  7. It doesn’t have to be delicate. It can be something as simple as DVDs/BluRays, or some speakers or headsets you bought for your computer. The stuff arrives broken, and I live in a suburb, not in the sticks.

  9. Amazon used to allow comments on reviews. They got rid of that years ago. Then they stopped accepting using Amazon gift card money to buy other gift cards like Xbox and Nintendo’s eShop.

  10. eBay still sells junk but in my experience that mostly comes from people trying to scam others. Not quite the same as one country selling obvious counterfeit junk.

  13. Years ago I bought a PS3 controller that was fake. Ended up buying a used OEM PS3 controller on eBay from an actual person who posted screenshots. While I don’t particularly like eBay, I find them more trustworthy than the trillion dollar corporation named Amazon.

  17. IMDB has also been compromised and they’ve also censored/removed reviews, particularly ones that criticized Disney Marvel films, despite not breaking any rules on the website. They also removed their forums and did other things that have not benefited the user.
