Funny how NYC was so much better in the late 90’s. Not only was the cost of living much cheaper, but you didn’t have as many homeless. Why? Because more people back then could gain jobs and careers, as well as a social network of contacts. Homeless are treated with as much hostility as the shrinking middle class. The rich are all that NYC and most of the country care about.

Because that’s exactly what it is now. We’re suffering just to put food on the table.

@r.e.4873 I do the same. My kids won’t see Play Places, Ball areas, or a happy, friendly mascot designed to get kids to go to McDonalds.

@denisionescu5072 And as history tells us, Romania was right of the Iron Curtain for nearly 50 years. Some of the older Romanian people still remember the Cold War. It was awful.
