  2. Are you stating modern Hollywood products, or Hollywood as a whole meaning its entire history? I’m not against someone watching a John Wayne movie or a television sitcom from all those decades ago. But you need to learn that the business that goes on behind closed doors is not the one you see on the screen. This goes for all entertainment media, including books, video games, sports and other avenues. Hollywood is awful. Always has been. But I’m not above telling someone they can’t watch a classic film from time to time. There’s independent films. There’s the movie industry in the UK. There’s plenty of stuff from Scandinavia. Movies from South Korea. It doesn’t have to be Hollywood or Japan.

  4. The producer of The Amanda Show, a variety show aimed at kids in the early 2000’s, had a foot fetish. Keep that in mind if you watch old episodes of the show, because it’s pretty apparent.

  10. Hollywood was using women as objects before any of us were alive. Marilyn Monroe was just one of countless many who were used by the system in the old days.
