  3. Huh? The lower 50% of income earners pay virtually zero federal tax. The majority of the tax burden is on the rich. Why would you think rich people aren't taxed? And, as for corporate taxes, I'm sorry, but most of the time, when I hear people like you saying this, its because you're unaware of how those taxes actually work, and you fall for some sensationalist articles that claim XYZ company didn't pay such-and-such taxes. Usually, it's because the profits got passed through to private individuals, and the taxes get paid there instead. But, yes, sometimes there are tax programs that amount to companies paying little to no tax, but, that's almost always a product of the taxes being the mechanism to induce change and development.

  5. He has that much time on the floor to say all of these emotional things, and point fingers. Yet, he didn't mention a single word about what an effective law would be. It's already illegal to kill people. It's already illegal to bring a gun into a school. What other things does he propose to make illegal, which would actually result in the criminals being unable to commit the crimes? Sorry, 10 minute speeches that play on emotions, yet don't offer a single word of actual effective measures, are worthless.

  6. You don't even realize you're contradicting yourself. Yes, it's illegal for "any loon" to carry around a loaded gun without a permit. Are you going to make it double-super illegal? Now the criminals will abide? You already acknowledged that they're going to get guns anyway. So, what EXACT law are you proposing? I mean, this is the thing about your complaints: they don't actually contain a suggestion for an actual law that would actually do what you want it to do. You (and the speaker in this video) love to whine and complain, but, neither you, nor he, offered any solutions.

  7. Hence why sexual cases often go unreported, and are rarely prosecuted when they are. Without additional evidence, it's basically he-said-she-said, a 50/50 case. But, criminal cases need more than 50/50 to convict, it's like 99/1 to convict.

  8. Why are you thanking him? He said absolutely nothing. I didn't see him actually offering a solution. He just passionately asked for a magical law that would make things all better. And, sorry, the minute he said that gun violence decreased after the 1930s... and attributed that to a gun law... and not the fact that the Great Depression created high rates of crime... and doesn't mention that gun violence decreased when employment rates went back to normal... despicable.

No government program to keep genetic information a secret will ever have a chance in a trillion years of succeeding in doing so.   11. A day or two ago, YouTube changed the way the "thumbs" work, and you're no longer able to actually thumbs-down anything. It doesn't register. Only the thumbs-up registers now. Now it's just like the comments. They let you thumbs-down a comment, but, it does absolutely nothing.

  13. No. Sexual misconduct allegations are very hard to prove. Nobody would be arrested on someone's word alone, especially when so much time has passed. It might be different if the incident was last night or something. But, "regular person" or not, nobody is being arrested for something like this until a much deeper investigation is done.

That's like offering immunity in exchange for testimony, then taking the immunity away after the testimony. That's why he was let go. There is no comparison to Cuomo.
