@sjoerdhoogeland9149 I read it in the early 90's and it hit hard due to a friend of mine having gotten me into politics just a little bit and I started seeing how the conservative right was already giving up and just taking it back then, because they were sure the stuff we have going on now wouldn't happen until they're were already dead some 20 to 30 or more years from now. The only thing they got wrong was the timelines. ~ 30 years late for the 1984 book timeline and ~ 30 years too soon for when conservatives gave up timeline.

@nicholasjones3207 I try to follow both sides but it has gotten so insane on the left end I can't stomach all the lying anymore. They can't even be honest about what the right is lying about which just makes the right look more credible for all the wrong reasons. Beyond that, Just reading through the comments on each side and trying to discuss any major topic in play quickly exposes their left-favored narratives and massive censorship of reality to an insane degree.
