Or maybe the war started because Britain and France pursued a policy of appeasing Germany, feeding it entire countries and refusing to ally with the USSR against Germany? It is clear that when the USSR realized that Britain and France were not going to enter into an equal alliance with it, it agreed with Germany so that the WWII would not start with it. For that matter, the British and French governments of that time had to be brought to justice.

Glorifying the Finns, did you know that they had their own death camps where they threw people based on ethnicity?Did you know that almost a third of all captured prisoners of war died in their camps? Did you know that they helped organize the siege of Leningrad, which killed almost a million civilians?

@ronaldostrowski4014 Well, it means that in 1939 the Soviets returned the lands that the Poles took from them in the 20s, when they attacked Soviet Russia, taking advantage of the fact that there was a civil war and intervention in it.

@ Fun fact - in terms of the number of invasions of other countries over the past 200 years, and even over 100 in general, it is far inferior to England, France and the USA. Think about it.

@ws6858 Russian Russians took advantage of the weakness of the Russian principalities after the invasion of the Mongols, and if you dig a couple more centuries deeper, it turns out that these were the lands of the Russian princes, which the Poles stole.

@JayTide In the twentieth century, the Soviet state fought three wars with Finland. Twice out of three, Finland was the initiator of military actions. It turns out that it is a greater aggressor than the USSR.

@SebastienBohan-y8w It's a pity that you don't know about the Soviet-Finnish armed conflict (1918-1920), when the Finns tried to capture Karelia, and Mannerheim even swore an oath on the sword. Oh yes, doesn't it bother you that in the continuation War the Finns were allies of the Germans and aggressors?

@ThatOneInTenThousand In the last couple of years, maybe not, but here's a list for the last thirty years: Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria. Will you judge because of this?

@청솔향-g9u пфф. Конечно не был, при этом если посмотреть на действия США и Англии, то выясниться что СССР творил жести в разы меньше.

@Crashed131963 France and Poland lost more troops than Germany when they fought it in 1939 and 1940. By the way, the losses were only in Germany, closer to 6 million, but besides her, Finnish, Romanian, Italian and Hungarian troops were also there against the USSR. And no, the losses of the USSR are 8 million.

1)When the USSR entered Poland, its army was already defeated and there was a simple choice. Either the USSR occupies these territories, or Germany. 2) Stories about the genocide of millions of people in the USSR are complete lies and nonsense. Anyone who tells this is uneducated, and his head is full of propaganda.
