The fact is that this was always going to happen since the rate that the world consumes oil is astounding to put it to scale if we ran only on the reserves of oil that we have the world would only run for about a week to two weeks before we run out of the everday things we use, and at the current rate we will run out in the year 2050 or 2060 because fossil fuels take millions of years to form.
