  2.  @araara4746  Ur missing the main point, I'm not even from west. There r other members who served side by side with xi all over China, what is the criteria that xi got promoted & others didn't? Answer is Polit burea lobby system. Its same everywhere. Democracy has 2 or multi party. But in Democracy public can choose which leader they want. In China only polit burea members lobby choose who will be leader. So ur argument of meritocracy doesn't work. One is lobby system other is popularity system.
