@SAFFRONINFERNO Indias best striker is still a Bengali chooni Goswami from Mohon Bagan club, also was Asian top striker in 1964 AFC Asian cup. What history ur talking about? Sunil chhetry is also from Bengal, previous national goalkeeper Subroto Pal was also from Bengal.

@mtk3755 My dad was a good footballer, he played with him,scored a goal against his team but chooni returned it with 3 goals. My dad could drop a ball on ur head anywhere in penalty box,pin point accuracy wearing Dhoti as well in his late 50s & early 60s age,from corner or free kick being left winger.I have seen him doing that in childhood.I also seen Sunil & Baichung playing as well.Chooni Goswami was more calibre with more speed than them. Chooni was electric on the field.

@mtk3755 Stop giving excuses, qualify for AFC asian cup in every 4 years for next 20 years & gradually reach to pot 1 teams in Asia then automatically fans & sponsorship etc all will rain on Indian football. Now u have TV as well, 2 things attracts sports fans success & good quality playing. There is no shortcuts in Success.
