@rumplestilskin223 Eastern India is hub of football from Bengal to Nagaland & Manipur. Kolkata city had biggest football stadium in world, which hosted junior WC final, before Korea made new stadium.

India had Chooni Goswami in 60s era who was top striker in Asia. Japan Iran used to look like babies infront of him. He was a Ronaldo Messi material.

This neglect & wait is good, bcs when a generation of footballers will come like 50s 60s era,India will enter world cup like a storm & defeat the teams in world to reach directly semi or quarter finals.

@mtk3755 My dad was a good footballer, he played with him,scored a goal against his team but chooni returned it with 3 goals. My dad could drop a ball on ur head anywhere in penalty box,pin point accuracy wearing Dhoti as well in his late 50s & early 60s age,from corner or free kick being left winger.I have seen him doing that in childhood.I also seen Sunil & Baichung playing as well.Chooni Goswami was more calibre with more speed than them. Chooni was electric on the field.
