 @Cotswolds1913 we have urban trains & metro & Tram. We have lakes & gardens in cities. It's bcs our FSI parameter is low in cities which made it congested & unplanned like slums.

@Cotswolds1913 do u know what is the total train track coverage of India? Its higher than ur whole Europe & even higher than China. 98% of those r electric based unlike ur EU. Only some double track & 4 track, river track bridges & some track quality upgrade is required which is already going on. China only has higher metro railways & HSR coverage than India. Look at China cities & compare. Tokyo is most populated city in Asia. Look at them & look at urself. Tagore wrote a prose where he asked Indians to learn discipline & work ethics from the Japanese. Don't need to look towards west.

Even Indus Valley ppls made better city with planning 5000 years ago than what ur living in India now calling it as cities. Bcs indus ppls were civilised unlike Indians after independence.
