  3. you are absolutely right on with the first part about fear mongering, people use propaganda to trick people into thinking the world is scary and thats why you need stricter laws and to give more power to a specific group etc etc, it is always in the best interest of the current ruling power to always PORTRAY THE CURRENT AGE as the best point in history to live in, to say that the past ancestors had hellish lives and everyone not us were living in a much worse time, and we need to keep it this way etc. while also making contradictions on fear mongering.
