so many people are too stupid to realize orwell was a communist or socialist himself

@husslerevolution7057 i mean you could say the same thing is happening across most of europe and the us now, its slow becoming more radicalized, however imo the usa is not really liberal from the start, at least the classical liberal the libertarian definition. nor is the uk or any of the 5 eyes

4:00 this is so true, just look at the reporting in the russian ukraine war

no but the nazis were every bit socialists, they wanted very strong social services and healthcare along with a communal auto system and free rail lines, only for what they deemed the strong races though. although the nazis were not racist in any way that people think, they were discriminant more based on culture and religion rather than race, indians chinese and japanese and even black west africans who allied with them were given honorary aryan status, because they admired their culture.

@zacheryeckard3051 no thats incorrect, you are seeing it only from 1 axis, which is why i dislike the political axis since it only has 1 or 2 scales, you need over at least 16 scales to measure a society properly

@zacheryeckard3051 >Libertarians are against political hierarchy. wrong, thats the most retarded statement i've ever seen. libertarians want to destroy all heirachies, if any one doesn't then they aren't libertarian, but conservative using a label to pull people to their side. also libertarians and non american republicans were considered left wing for the longest time, like in the spanish civil war where the republicans sided with the communists against the fascists

@pfftnuffinpersonalkid1541 couldn’t agree more

Damn you wrote an entire short story

@Sigrdrifaz i disagree strongly, historically, it is always the moral objectivists who commit the most heinious atrocities, what ever genocide or war has been commited due to people "thinking about their own gain or interests" vs how many were commited "for the good of something " for the good of your nation, your race, your religion etc. moral relativists do not care about notions like nationalisty since they are too keen on themselves and their own definition of whats right.

looking at the book this way and reading about max stirner really changed my entire outlook on any political ideology in general. although where I would disagree on orwell is that the desire for power itself isn't always a bad thing, the idea itself of power being destructive is a spuk in itself says stirner, but the aspects of human nature and the force driving us to attain power is also a spuk
