  1. might is right, read max stirner. i used to be a libertarian until I realized no one is gonna help you when people trample over you, in reality "natural rights" don't really exist, because its not really metaphysical, as in nothing physical in the universe preventing people from taking them from you, aside from yourself and your own power. so in this sense. this really helps you understand how the world works on a metaphysical level. things like ethics, rights, morality etc. are metaphysical aspects that don't really exist, and are usually defined by those in power. might makes right, those who have power determine these things, so if you want rights and the like, you have to become powerful or ally with powerful people who is more free -the king of the world? -or some traveling vagrant outlaw that is a question that has yet to be answered

  2. ​ @billyhart3299  you should probably check out kierkegaard and stirner. machiavelli does give very good advice but he leaves out the enjoyment of life out of it, a very aggressive approach, I used to be like this until i found stirner, before when i read ragnar redbeard it felt like a black pill, but stirner advocates a different approach where you are opportunistic, but understand that everything is free flowing and objective, in this sense, its a lot similar to ancient taoism. and less rigid also "power" is not defined by stirner as brute strength, but the ability to make things happen, this could mean even writing a book(i mean look how powerful a book got hitler).
