  26. @yourmanwatson the right wing literally has nothing to do with intolerance. im always werided out by american terms of left and right (left and right don't exist in reality so its just a misnomer) right wing = traditionalists/older ideologies/reactionaries that want to return to previous government left win = progressive/ wish for reform/ want to create new ideology/ in other words. fascism is left win in the 1920s since it was new, and anti colonial and populist. however in 2020 it would be considered right wing since its an OLD ideology. communism could also technically be considered right wing by some people, even now some people call them "red fascists" especially in the soviet bloc countries where right wing nationalism is actually represented by communist stand point. an example would be canada, whose more nationalist party is actually what the americans considered left wing, rather than the traditional right leaning. TLDR: in 1910s canada was complaining that america was not racist and religious enough, but in 2010s canada was complaining that america was more racist and overtly religious. LEFT AND RIGHT are terms that change over time. left = new right = old
